97 5.8 in truck - EFI need mods to handle 393 stroke kit?

Anyone have any experience with EFI and a stroker? This is for a tow rig, not a race car - any suggestions?

I was thinking of using some sort of ECM programmer to tune it if necessary.

if the truck is mass air and you dont go crazy with the cam there shouldnt be a problem, if it is speed density (from a 5.[img]/forums/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img] it would definatly be close if you go with a cam similar to the stock cam. but never tried it. did do a 408 in a fox stang and it ran great with the stock efi mass air (non chipped)

mass air or speed density.....hmmmm what's stock on this thing? That's what I'll be using.

Should be speed density system,they don't respond well to bigger heads and cams as they don't have enough built in adjustability programs.
