opinions on efi wiring swap

hello i am looking for opinions on swapping out the wiring for a 5.0 fi into a 59 ford. is it better to use an aftermarket harness such as a painless #60510 or just pick apart the factory harness thanks

The stock harness has the big salt and pepper connectors, which are kind of ugly and hard to hide depending on the intake you use. They can be eliminated by soldering the wires together.

It will work and the price is right if you have the time to clean it and make it look nice.
