Camshaft help for my 95 Cobra

There's no reason why you shouldn't be able to keep all of your amenities.

The cam will be the key for your idle quality, with and without the AC running.

Camshaft help for my 95 Cobra

It idles nice, just a bit of lope, no idea on vacuum. He drives it regularly. He could have kept the AC but he had some serious goals for racing the car.

Re: Camshaft help for my 95 Cobra

Since you are connected with this site I was hoping you could answer a couple questions. I was reading you builders notebook article ( for obvious reasons) and it talks about the advantage of probes shorter rod having a rod ratio "advantage" over the standard 5.40 rod? Am I missing something? It seems to me that a shorter rod creates a lower rod ratio which just creates more friction and less power. Also the article talks about a larger second ring gap on the build but gives the same spec (.24) as the top ring. And then goes on to talk about why the bottom ring gap is bigger. The only reason I'm so concerned is that I'm taking this info literally since I will be applying much of the information. So it's important to me that it's accurate.

As always your help is appreciated.
