Supercharger clearing Problems

I'm installing a powerdyne supercharger on my 88 stang and I'm having problems clearing the hood. The kit is for a 86 to 90 passenger side unit. According to the manual this kit was design to fit under the stock hood!
I only need to lower the engine about a inch.
Anybody knows of motor mounts that can do this? Thanks J

My car originally was a 4 cyl; So! I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Re: Supercharger clearing Problems

my brother in law and me have both ran solid mounts on the street its not that bad. I dont think there is a non solid drop mount out there.

I dont think it matters that the car was a 4cyl. unless somebody did something funny with the motor mounts in the first place.
