Got it! #4 is oviously in a koeo , #3 apears to be the same, koeo . I am assuming that "at engine temp" means that #1&2 are done in a koer state. How do you test an O2 with the engine running and plugs disconnected and not get a "check" light. Or do you just ignore it knowing that your in a test mode??????

#3 is a resistance/conductivity check of the heater element to mak esure it's not opened.....engine off key off.
#4 is KOEO.

If 3 & 4 are OK, you could test it twice....... O2 sensor disconnected (it generates its own voltage, that's how they work) ........and with the sensor connected probing the signal wire (pierced with a pin to connect the DVOM lead to).

If the CEL turns on while checking the O2s....... ignore it, you know why it's turning on.

Tested O2s this morn Test #1 good, Test #2 not done due to idle prob. Test #4 good.Test #3 offer no reading. Not sure I understand were "key power is at? I did #3 by testing ground (-) and power (+)on O2 it self with key off, sensor unplugged and got no resistance. Several folks(repair shops) have checked TPS voltage and have reported "in good range". I checked it and it is at 0.76 volt. Done in koeo state. A little low if you ask me but I guess not out of range.

Ya, right . Test # 1 FAIL on both sensors. #2 not done. #3 Fail and #4 PASS 11.93V on one side and 12.00V on ther. Test 3 & 4 ran both optionan ways and 4 always pass and 3 always fail. Apears that harness wiring/ grounds fine O2s BAD!! I had to run the tests correctly , not as I did above!!

for not clearing #1, the test is not done KOEO...... it's done KOER with engine at op temp idling. Signal voltage should fluctuate around the .55 vdc point.

.... O2 sensors have a 1-yr. warranty, you could have had the replacements "warrantied" .
