Well , reset timing to 10 BTC, Reset TPS to .95v. Reset computer. Drove in different conditions for about 45min. NO ping and no idle issues. I can now unplug idle control vale and engine doese`nt die, runs a little rough with unplugged but it use to die. One thing that I did notice is that after a lot of driving and then pull in driveway put car in park that idle does not go back up to a "park idle" it kinda acts like it is still in drive. Normally idle in park and idle in drive a little different. Still idles good though.

When I first put all this "new stuff" on 4 year ago, I had no diff between idle control hooked up or not . Idled just the same. Now, idle RPM drop to 500 and rough if I unplug

Re: Idle problem AGAIN!! NO WAY?

I think you're set...... the fact that there's no difference between rpms in Park and Drive = the IAC valve is doing its job controlling idle...... otherwise you would have lower rpms in D or too high in Park. LUK how it does in the long term.

Damn!.........I forgot about that detail.... anyway!.... since you have an AFPR, it's a matter of increasing the FP with the vacuum line connected, until the lean codes are no longer present in a KOER self test. LUK
