...the later model (95-96, fer shure) have only the intank pump, the factory deleted and removed the second frame mounted fuel pump, from the late 80's and up models - might be why the damn thing was so expensive (and tricky to diagnose). Lots of cameo between the fuel pump and computer. Makes you wonder how many PCM's have been replaced unnecessarily when the pump was the real cause?
The sender unit, fuel pump and sensors for the computer are all in a drop-in unit. All the lines are either steel or flex-line which are braided/covered with neophrene... If this comes up again - I may turn it into a trail-only rig and start bypassing stuff.
