SD or MAF?

Hey guys,

I recently got some speed density stuff from a 87 mustang for free. I got manifolds with orange top injectors, fuel rail, wiring harness, throttle body. I don't have a computer or MAP sensor. I'm wondering what the best course of action is now. Should I gather the equipment to convert to a mass air system? My Comet has a warmed up 88 302 with 70 351W heads, long tube 1 5/8" headers. I've got the stock HO cam. Would the speed density system work ok with my setup, or would the mass air system work better?

Thanks

For anything less that Full time race car, MAF will be better. It has adaptive programming, meaning it will attempt to learn about your engine, fix or modifiy its programming to match its use. SD is what it is, properly tuned, it can be a very good system, but in most cases its only as good as the person doing the initial set up.
