Re: Orange 64 Galaxie Progess
Well, a bit of an update. Wiring is almost complete, a few things are missing or undecided so can't be finished yet (wiper switch). Also, the whole grille, headlights and trim is on and looking fine. It was a pain to do but looks awesome. Fluids are in, gas too and you know what that means. Yup, maybe it will be fired this weekend. Even the windows are lined up and doors too, all shutting nicely despite the new rubbers too.

IT'S A-LIVE!!!
That will be a great feeling if all falls into place for you by the weekend. Glad to see you still plugging away at her. Post some more pics when ever you get time. I'd love to see her with her clothes on :^)

Re: Orange 64 Galaxie Progess
Yup, she's quite alive, all lights and stuff work, but fuel was leaking from the carb, regulator, pump etc..... so a little fine tooth combing is needed. That stuff is too valuable to leak in large quantities!!!

Another dollar or two a gallon and it will be cheaper to make a motor that runs on milk...and it's a renewable energy.

Re: Orange 64 Galaxie Progess
Ladies and gentlemen, ah...... some good news.............................it runs!!
After some small leak issues, a starter engagement problem and a bit of wiring, it came to life today in a big way. Oh my f-n God is this thing cool. I'm on my first real performance car after sharing a bit with everyone else's so this is huge to me. My dad's been working like crazy putting this thing together and now alot of things are taking shape mechanically which he and I are happy to see. I do what I can knowledge wise (not much automotively) and work alot so he's been doing the majority. She is loud, and powerful, and loud. Just thaught I'd share, electric fan was working well too, it needed to.

Re: Orange 64 Galaxie Progess
I'll be posting more pics, especially of the new kick panel speakers I had made. Very little left to do before it drives really, waiting for the electric dumps to come in, door panels, carpet, and seats are to be done soon as well as my front coils. I just wrote to keep this near the top, ha ha!
