Progress looks great. I am also building a 64 with a 514. I have the motor and 4sp toploader in. Is your car a 4speed and if so what kind of headers did you use? I have not found any yet and feel like I will have to modify some or have some built. Also did you build your engine or is it a crate motor. Keep up the good work.

The tranny is a C6 with a TCI 3500 stall. It is also upgraded with beefier parts to handle more power. That engine is not a crate, but does have the same roller cam. The compression is around 9 to 1, 9.25 I think, the pistons are JE, with Eagle H-beam rods. The heads have been machined for some additional hp's, ported/polished and a 3 angle valve job. They also added larger valves. Livernois Motorsport hooked up for many parts and all head work. The intake is a Blue Thunder piece, dual plane. The entire engine was assembled by a local drag racer (canadian) who is well known for building Big Block Ford's, especially FE's. The header's are Crites whom I met through Barrie my engine builder, old buddies. I had them ceramic coated and love how they turned out.

Got the fan mounted, thanks pops, plus alot of trim. My dad and I have been figuring out alot, like many of the clips and fasteners given are crap. The side moulding clips were a joke so we used all ones with threads like on the hood lip. Got the taillights mounted along with the curved trim. The quarter trim (80 ft long piece of shiney man jewelry) and stainless trim at the bottom of the fastback where it meets the trunk all on. We're working on the e-brake assembly and gas pedal linkage. I will post some more pics too soon.

Anyone know where to get a parking brake release knob for this thing? Or how bout a place to get the trunk lock surround that holds the lock steady and goes between the key hole and the chrome bezel? Or how do you remove the old one. My new lock I got never came with this round stainless? piece, what to do?

This old car is gonna be something as she begins to take shape. I did get the quarter window frames, where the glass slides into back from the chromer, assembled it and man it looks sweet. I buffed and polished the top curved piece last fall to a chrome like shine and cleaned the window and rubber. All together it looks teets.

Trunk bezel and e-brake handle can all be purchased from Dearborn Classics. The bezel isn't cheap so bring some k-y to the party.

More pictures...more pictures...more pictures... :^) You'ld think I was in a strip joing putting quarters in the the thingy to raise the curtain up and down. Not that I've ever been to one...I've only heard about them.

Sounds like you are progressing nicely. The trim and some interior pieces that go in quickly sure make a big difference. Keep up the good work.

As requested, some pics:

You can see, some stuff is almost complete, ie. the rear. I actually am painting the "GALAXIE 500" trim piece and then will bolt that on the right panel trim piece. All this came from Joe's Rust Emporium except the NOS trim rings, trunk lock bezel and taillights. Little by little, here she goes, hell maybe Power Tour 07 ready?????? Woodward Dream Cruise for sure anyways. Realistically, she ought to be done by early May for a show I promised to be at.

Thanks brother, I just poured most of my $$$ on paint, man that job aint cheap. Not only that, it took like 4 years and 3 bodymen to do it. The drivetrain is looking to be of the cheapest things anymore. Plus, it was zero headaches.
