Actually, bad news bears. We've been running into alot of broken window and door mechanisms lately, vent window regulators today's latest. Alot of detailed stuff has been going on and not really anything visual. The front fender trim is done and on along with the fender eagle, driver side only. We're working on the windows and stuff right now.

Just a note, you can drill out the wing window mech pieces that broke and use a not and bolt. Just a suggestion. I say a tech article on their repair once. I will do that when mine brake apart. That is if that is the issue with the mechanism.

I'm pretty sure I know what you mean, replace the rivets with bolts but the retaining plates is what I'm missing. Like I said, good thing because I see how bad the teeth inside are. I'm in the midst of locating another good set so we'll see.

Got the windows almost all done, but still needing some fine tuning. It physically looks done from the driver side. Within days, maybe Friday, the glass both windshield and rear window will be in. Also, the rest of the fuel, brake and tranny cooler lines will be wrapped up. Pics soon.

As you can see, the engine bay is close to bieng wrapped up, fender spears are mounted, the side mouldings have been high speed buffed, painted and letters remounted. I wish the pics turned out better, kinda proud. The polishing and painting was done by me, while the letter removal and reinstallation was my dad and his friend. They had some ideas on how to remount and now they are like welded on. The windows are close to bieng done and soon the dash goes back in. Front and rear glass this week plus their trim.

Jealousy is a word that comes to mind !!!!

I have a question - in that last pic you see how your pedal linkage on the firewall is sitting at an angle, mine is not like that, mine points out straight toward the front of the car, so if i run a straight rod to the carb it will not "pull" it will only "lift" the linkage, but not enough to open the throttle.

Why is mine like that ?

Did it come out of the factory last ? is it the runt ?

*****EDIT*****

I just re-read your other post, i guess i'll heat mine, im gonna run the lokar bracket and throttle cable, at the rear of the intake im gonna fab up a little bracket to hold the cable just below the pedal inkage, as the pedal pulls towards the firewall it will lift/pull the cable
