Question though, why do you say "I'm beginning to think there's a reason you don't see many mechanically injected small block Fords around."???

I've been thinkin about this conversion in a year or so for the Cleve. I haven't really looked much into it, but what's your beef?

After a couple of weeks of late nights and long weekends the little 358W finally came to life last Thursday. Only ran it for a few minutes and then set off to fix some little gremlims. also found that my little PowerMaster starter isn't up to the task of spinning this engine fast enough to light without pulling a lot of timing out, so new 200 lb/ft starter will be here this week.

Everything is back together and the car is ready to go once the starter is here.
