Talking 64 Falcon

Hey guys, I'm new to the site, but been a Ford guy my whole life. Looking forward to hearing from you guys. My father and I have been building hot rods for a long time, my daily driver is a 79 F100 with a 351W Interceptor motor....but the new project is a 1964 Falcon 2-door post. Clean California car that we had shipped from Redding, CA to our hometown about 30 miles north of Boston, MA. We've had it about a year and since then have got it stripped and fully media blasted. I've got virtually all the old powertrain, and it did turn over when we got it, so if any of you are doing a 170ci rebuild and need it, let me know!
The blast revealed very little rust, except for some rotten floor boards. We intend to make this a low rolling street machine, with a built 302, tremec 5spd conversion and a 9" rear end. In addition we like the idea of the RRS rear 3 link kit and coil over front kit. We got the floor boards from Auto Krafters and ready to start welding in this weekend. But battling the cold New England cold is tough around here.
Let me know what you think!

Re: 64 Falcon

I would say you are well on your way, looking real good. I'm a little bias when it comes to '64 Falcons.
