Just got through the majority of assembly this past Saturday. Wanted to share some pics.

Scat 4.100" forged crank, Scat H-beam rods.
Probe forged pistons.
Total Seal rings.
Clevite bearings.
TFW TW-R CNC heads. They flow 335cfm @ my valve lift and 343 @.700".
Manley titanium valve spring retainers.
Comp valve springs.
Felpro MLS head gaskets.
Jones custom hydraulic roller cam.
Cloyes billet double roller timing chain.
CSR electric water pump.
Professional Products harmonic balancer.
Quick Fuel Q-850 carb.
Mallory billet distributor.
Comp 3/8" pushrods.
FMS hydraulic roller lifters.

The pictures show the intake, valve covers, carb, etc. sitting on the engine, but they're not bolted up. I'm still waiting for the pushrods to come in.

Re: 445cid Windsor Stroker

This one wasn't intended to be a revver. Peak hp should be at around 6200. Not a problem with the right valve springs. These are Comp springs, installed at 150lbs seat pressure and 425lbs open.

Yes, it will be dyno'd on March 8th. I expect 600hp out of it. I know you hate hydraulic rollers, Joe, but I'm sure it will be fine. It's not for a race car, it's for a street car. I don't want to take a chance with a solid roller cam.

Re: 445cid Windsor Stroker

Did you actually find a good deal somewhere on those valve covers? I have been lusting over a set for quite some time now.

Didn't find a good deal. Just gritted my teeth and pulled the trigger. $310 with shipping and accessory kit.

My plan is to put it in a '95 Mustang.

I bought each rotating piece separately from different vendors. I think the crank actually came from Jegs. They price matched a good deal I found on the internet. I think the crank was around $620, the rods were around $375 (uses SBC rods, so they're cheap) and the pistons were $600.

Your Engine Looks Absolutely Great, Im Curious About The Miller R/r Arms. Why Did You Use Them? I Bought Them Because Of The Set Up At Mid-lift.

Re: 445cid Windsor Stroker

Thank you very much for your compliments.

I didn't really have a specific reason for using the Millers. On my previous small blocks, I used Comp Cams rockers. I saw the advertisement (can't remember where...were they on here?) for them and decided to give them a shot. They look beefy and the price was great.
