After hours of scrubbing, and wire wheel work in my garage, its finally clean.
We then decided to send the car to get soda blasted since there was so much surface rust on top of the car for the Carolina sun.
Mocks autobody in Wilkins township Pa performing needed body repair.
Misc. parts I sand blasted and repainted:
Rebuilt MX transmission by Tim's Transmission in Plum PA
Wet sanding
Back to original paint 1967 Burnt Amber Code V

Cleaned driveshaft, and replaced original factory stripes..only cause I thought they were cool.

I wanted to try to avoid using the dash cover option, and I missed a perfect one on ebay being outbid by $15!
So here is what we did. Dug out cracks and sanded.
Used Flexible bumper epoxy:
Above you can see that we gave up 2 rows of perforations to make a solid repair. Under the dash we used small strips of wood and wire to try to flatten out the speaker grill.
Then LOTS of sanding
2 coats of truck bedliner spray for texture
SEM texture paint, and SEM Cordevan Brown.
Not bad for about $30. Here are the main supplies I used.
