54 Customline

I found this 54 2dr Customline in a garage here in Ft. Worth. The car had not been registered since 1986. The new owner of the property wanted to car removed called me and asked it I wanted to buy it for 250 dollars. The car has the original 239 Y Block, the water pump was frozen up but I did get the car to start. I think I will drive it for a while as a rat rod until the motor quits, then I will fuel inject it with a 4.6 lincoln 8 motor. Here are a few pics of the car.

Nice buy. I think you got a deal on that one and there is even room for future gauge expansion.

Re: 54 Customline

I just missed purchasing a 55 for $550 that ran and had all the trim and interior still. Someone showed up before me with $700 and he took it. First to show cash gets it the guy said, I was a half hour too late. Great buy, by the way
