I had forgotten how tight a 427 is in a Comet .Look at these exhaust manifolds.

the only thing tighter than that is a 351w based engine in a stock chassis Maverick or 70's comet. Ask me how I know.

Oh man, I hated changing plugs in mine! Still wish I never sold it though.
