Questions about a 76 Stallion...

I was wondering if I could get some information about a 1976 Maverick Stallion. I just bought one with about 109K original miles on it, single-family owned, 302, auto, air. It hadn't been started in 6-7 years, and I just finished refurbishing the fuel system and changing fluids...it started on the first crank! What can you tell me about them?

Re: Questions about a 76 Stallion...

The Stallion was an appearance package. It is not listed separately in my price guide so I don't suppose it actually adds any value to the car. The 76 Mavericks have not become as valuable as the earlier Mavs but in time it may get there.
If you want to know what it is worth let me know and I will look it up for you.

Even later Mav's are cool. I saw a black Stallion that had the blocky bumper swapped for the earlier style grille, bumper and valance. Niiiice.

The Stallion is not listed in the "Old Car Price Guide" separately from the other different models. Maybe someday it will be recognized as something special but not yet.
