Costs...

hey guys...

I have somethings to ask.
wich engines Maverick had in USA??? how much one would cost me and wich years it was produced in North America?
I intend to buy one.

I have some plans here in Brazil, but I can`t find one in "good shape" to do what I want.
THANKS!!!

Re: Costs...

What do you want? The CAR or the ENGINE?

They had a 200 and a 250 inline six cylinder, they also had a 302 V-8. I think that's about it bub.

Re: Costs...

They came most commonly with 200", 250" six cylinders and 302" V8. Less commonly, some of the early ones had 170" six cylinder engines. How much? Depends on who you talk to. I sold mine to scrap metal yard for $22. It was a 250 that ran perfect. Had a little oil leak but it ran perfect.

check the classifieds on Ford Maverick Information Site - The largest Ford Maverick/Mercury Comet community. Lots of times they are doing 6 cyl. to V8 swaps, and they either GIVE the old 6 away or trade it for something they might need....like...say 2.3 motor mounts

Re: Costs...

i believe in 71 they dropped the 170 and also added the 2v 302 and 250 6cyl. the 200 also remained an option

brazilian mavericks could be optioned with the inline 4 but american mavericks never got those
