new to the comet/maverick world

i just picked up a 74 mercury comet 2 door. i was wondering where i could find floor and trunk pans or other vehicles that will fit

Not sure if any of that is repopped or not but you could try craigslist for parts cars or ebay for parts.

Auto Krafters makes floor pans for these cars if you haven't found that out yet. These cars are making it to the big leagues.

AK doesn't make them. Some have used a Mustang floor plan and made them fit. Easiest place to find them is a local junkyard or ebay.

Shows it in their magazine on page 24. Unless they offered them and they were the wrong part or it was a misprint ??? Not much more I can say about that.

Auto Krafters has had them in their catalogs as "NEW" items for a long time but they have never been available.
We just use some 20 gauge steel and form the patches to fit and then paint to match.
