What are my tail lights

hi everyone,

When I bought my car, these were the tail lights on the car. Looking to get second set but have no idea what era or vehicle they would belong to.

Looks like 66 Thunderbird, like late 60's Shelby Mustangs.

Kinda looks like Cougar lights( same as some Shelby mustangs, 67?) to me. I like the little Comets! Cool car customgirl1!

They usually have a number cast into the lens which include the last 2 numbers of the year date.

Those are '67-'68 Cougar. They are missing the grille bezels to finish them off as shown below.

PS: Although I prefer the '69-'70 style on a Mav/Comet, I saw a Mav with the early ones like yours that had the grilles blacked-out with satin black spray paint. Awesome look.

They're ugly... burn the car to the ground and start over....

Looks like the horribly nasty California Special tail lights the mustangs had.... Dayam they were horrendous...
