Curb Weight????

What is the curb weight for a 1968 ford mustang coupe?
I was thinking it is 2700 to 2900Lbs. I did take the 302 out and put in a 351w. so with that in mind how much more weight does a 351w have over a 302? Thanks for the endless info!!

an all iron 351 from ford has a shipping weight of about 600 pounds, I think the 302 weighes about 450 to 500 pounds. Ill bet your car weighes about 3100 pounds.

Mine weighed 3240 with me in it. I weigh about 175. It has an AOD so that is a little heavier then the original C4, but I have a 302 block with all the alluminum components you can get on it except for the block. I added the bigger Baer brakes also that weigh more then the stock stuff. Some other things minor have added some weight too. Anyway Your about 3100 to 3,300 I would say.

so I am about 3100 to 3300Lbs with me in it. I have all alluminum but the block. inside is just the driver seat. no cage yet.

If you plan on taking it to the track you can just weight it there I am sure. Instead of guessing have it weighed. But I would think that you are somewhere around 3,100 to 3,300 pounds.
