1966 frame/engine mount question ?

Well I’m dropping in a roller block in the 66 mustang and lost track of witch side the frame mounts go on ( right and left). They seem to fit either way, only difference is about 2 inches forward or backward. Sorry it’s been down for about a year know. I no it is 50/50 but not sure I’ll see the difference until I try and line up the trans. Any one with the 3 piece frame mounts that can take a look for me would be much appreciated.

Does the one inch offset go towards the front or rear ?

Off set is to the front, engine will set back that 1" closer to the fire wall.
