Removing the Molding

How do you go about removing the driprail moldings with out damaging them? Is there a tool that can help reduce the risk of breaking, denting or bending these fragile peices?

Removing the Molding

I always have just taken my time and pulled them off by hand very very slowly. It can be done this way but yes I am sure someone makes a tool for this to make it a little easier. Checkout The Eastwood Company. They have all kinds of tools for that kind of stuff. I know one of the times that I did mine I used a wood block and put it on the edge of the molding and taped it lightly until the molding started to come off. That is another way of doing it without damaging anything. Hope this helps.
