Anybody ever installed a headliner..71 Mach 1...I\'ve got questions

How long did it take take to change? Did you remove the backseat as instructed in the shop manual?
Do you have any quick hints?????

Thanks, Kevin

I've got this, a seat recover job, and front carpet then I'm done.

Had mine installed 71 Sportsroof, I had to furnish a rear window seal they said the rear window has to come out in order to tuck the liner in around the back glass cost about 125.00

I did a 4 door car on my first try with my wife in 1/2 a day! took front and back glass out and used cloths pegs to clip the liner over the edges! Work at one end first, I did the front, and pull it to the back window then do the sides carefully.Take your time and use the right glue.Afterward you can shut a small fan heater in or use a hair dryer to shrink the cloth if its vinyal.I had never done one before, got the shop to make me one from my old one with extra outside material.
Its a good feeling saying "I did it".
My job was perfect first time and I didn't need any heat etc.Its been perfect for 5 years now

I had a buddy do my 72' Fastback and even though we had heard the back window had to come out we managed to leave it in and the headliner looked great. your mileage may vary.
