64 1/2 rear end seals

I have a 1964 1/2 Mustang with leaking rear gear oil into brake drum. My question is I see no oil seals on the axel except paper gaskets on the backing plate is this correct I am stumped at this point. Thank You ! 64 1/2 rear end seals

The seals are inside the axle tube itself. You can use the axle shaft to pry them out. They're about $2 each. Use a large socket to drive the new one in.
