recommended heads for a 347

I am building a 302 based 347 stroker and am down to selecting the heads. Will be running about 11:1 compression with a Crane .584/.563 lift, 232 degree duration retrofit roller. Considering the AFR 185 or Edlebrock heads. Any suggestions?

AFR and Tick Flow have made good power on dyno sheets Ive seen. For the money though I would go with some AFR's. Check out their website, they have some great dyno sheets.

If I was you with the compression that you are wanting and the cam that you listed I would go with the AFR 205's or the Trick Flow CNC ported 205's from Total Engine Airflow.

I have Victor JR's and love them. Ford Muscle just published an article with another Victor JR headed 347 putting down 421HP to the ground with a pretty mild street build. I think you will not go wrong with either of the two heads listed above or the Victor JR's. Good luck and keep the board posted of your progress.
