Pwr. windows in a 68

I am looking seriously at a set of power windows for my 68 Mustang as a winter project.
I was wondering if any of you guys have seen or put a set of "Electric Life" direct replacement power mechanisms in one of our old Mustangs.
I have looked through some cars at a salvage yard but have come to the conclusion that this is the way to go.
Any thoughts?

I've stashed away a few power motors off Fox cars to see if I can adapt them onto my '67 Coupe. I haven't seriously looked at them though as the windows are still on the '67 ( I have a lot of work before I get to them!) so I haven't looked to see if they will adapt. I've repaired a few old regulators so I'm hoping the newer motors will mesh with older window "rack" The winder gear is only hels with three rivets. If I come up with a junkyard swap I'll post it here. I'm too broke to buy this stuff so If I can make it I'll pass on the info. Stu

Before there were kits I sawed a power regulator and my manual in half using the center of the gear to line up the halves and had them welded together on a 76 pickup. Just used some parts laying around from mid 70's full size.
