T5 with cable clutch and headers???

On the early cars (not sure about your year) the cable has to run inbetween 2 header primary tubes to get down to the tranny. Doesnt interfere with anything else, just need to install in such a way that the header wont burn/melt your cable.

that is exactly right. I also recommend running some heat wrap on the cable in that section.

FWIW, '94-95 cables are a bit longer, giving you plenty of room to mess with the routing and get it in a better spot than running it in between the tubes. IMO, running it between it between the tubes is a recipe for disaster. My dad did that in 1972 on his Vega when he put a header on it, and wrapped the cable, but he went through a few cables a year. (not to mention a few engines ) That's not to mention the tens of T5-swapped Mustang owners I've seen break cables right and left.

T5 with cable clutch and headers???

Got to lo0king at t5 clutch cables and came up with these part #'s.

OEM Clutch Cable 82-93 CL-12
OEM Clutch Cable 96-03 CL-9
OEM Clutch Cable 94-95 CL-13

Any idea how much longer the 94-95 cable is? Another inch or two wont help im my situation, but if we're talking a couple feet, then maybe
