tire size

I just bought some torque thrust D's 15x7 with 3 3/4 backspacing and I was wondering what tire size was good for my car. It's a 1965 mustang with no suspension modifications.

Pobibly some 215 60r15's but go to a good local tire shop and see what they say, because rubbing tires suck.

When I had 15X7's I ran a 225/50r15 on the front and it looked nice. If you want more side wall then just get a 60 series or more. I had 245/50's on the back and that looked good to but had a little bit of a bulge.

I have used the same wheel on my 66 FB with 225/50-15 as well as 215/60-15. My car is lowered 1" all the way around, and the 50's still looked too short. I would use the 50's on a 16" wheel, stay with the 60's for street use.
