how to: 68 mustang factory tach

Need some help in wiring up a factory tach in a 68 mustang

I also need some help wiring up a 67 factory tach in my 67! It's only 2 wires to run the tach, right? Just don't want to fry the sucker.

In the wire loom behind the ignition switch area there should be male and female "bullet" connectors on green with red striped wires they are the connection for the factory tach. I've never had a factory tach on any of my '67/68's so I don't know what the actual tach has for connectors. My assumption was they had a pre wired loom like the regular dash. HTH Stu
