66 stang r&p

Looking for some advice on installing r&p in my 66.car will be stock susp. with shelby drop,granada discs,maybe 1" shorter springs.this is a father/son project and i just cant handle the high dollar kits.Can this be done with junkyard parts?Any and all tips are appreciated.

Depends on your still levels. It can be done. There is different RP systems. Some mount in front of the crossmember and some in back. If you use spindles with the arm behind the spindle then use a RP from a car with front wheel drive since the RP will work for you. Some welding required also. Should be able to keep your front sump that way too.
