question about the Ram Air option for 1972

well mike when i restored the car and rebuilt the motor i changed the carb to a 4v but i still have the intake and 2v carb. i will still take pics of the air cleaner off. the air cleaner does fit on the 2v carb just like the 4v. i also have a video of my car burning out at a car show i will try to send. the car was green and silver. i'am not to much in love with green. jamie

question about the Ram Air option for 1972

I don't know what it is about Mustangs (and Cougars, as well as Mavericks) being green...I have had three Mustangs and one Cougar, and all were a "unique" shade of green (plus my Dad had a Maverick as well the same shade), and after many years of sunshine (before we bought them) they oxidized and became more of a flat, deep, dark green...my buddy said it always reminded him of a bullfrog!
But about your car...I like that color combo! I have always loved the accents done in the semi-gloss black...but there is something about the argent that is cool too!

What was really fun was my 69 Cougar, it was that really deep bullfrog green...with the light ivy green interior! I guess it wouldn't have been too bad if a little of the interior was that color....but everything from the carpet to the seats, trim panels and console, headliner...everything was this awful light ivy green!

the ominous bullfrog green I am refering too!!
Mike

My buddy had a 72 Mach 351 2v with ram air years ago. He eventually parted out the car and I bought the set up from him for $100 and put it on my 73 Fastback
