67 wiring diagram

I am helping a friend on a 67 fastback project and I have run into something confusing. The engine in this car was replaced with an 87 5.0 out of a mustang. It was a complete swap including the ignition system and the alternator from the 87. The voltage regulator for a 67 is still in use. The problem is the lights on the car are pulsing . Not really flashing but a continuous flickering. they also get brighter when the engine is revved up. All of this was allready done when I got the car to my shop so I dont really Know what all has been done. Im thinking that this alternator is self regulating and that the voltage regulator is not needed .The wiring is a mess and I cant tell **** from shinola. I think if I just used the alternator for a 67 it might work out better

Go to Google and type in M.A.D. enterprises. This guy knows his stuff. He's and old hot rodder who uses relays to run 14V to everything so there is no light dimming. Later [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img]
