67\' clutch problems

got a prob with the clutch. i just bought the cable conversion kit for my mustang and now i need the pull style fork any body got any idea where to buy one.

it has a 289 in it and i put in a t5 it.

check out any of the major mustang parts catalogs. I think my mustangs plus catalog with the dreadful ronster has the t-5 parts. I found it, its part 6483 and is 36.95. Also if you can hit up some junk yards see if they have any 5spd 5.0 vehicles with the fork left and you can probably get it for 10 bucks.

Yeah man check the yards - Thats one thing you can get pretty cheap. Any Mustang T-5 should work 4 or 8 cyl. Just look at the pivot point and the cable pull point to make sure they're not worn too thin/jacked up. The spring on the pivot side should be in good shape or it might jump up off at the worst possible time. Get the little round slider the cable threads through too.
