Don't know anything about the quality, but I got one coming. Shipping (by truck) is near $100.

Do you know anyone selling fiberglass hoods doors or fenders for a 1973 granda?

Um, you have to mount it with pins - hence the name "pin on hood". It's normally a race item. With some engineering, you can adapt it to regular hood hinges without the springs but you'll still need pins at the front.

I'll rate it as "fair". It's here, packaged well but one corner got chipped a bit in shipment. It's fiberglass, that'd be hard not to do. What I have a bigger issue with is it's narrow in the front - a 70 hood trim piece laps over the hood edges by about 1/4~3/8" or so. I'll have to pull the stock hood and hinges next week to trial fit the thing and see for sure, but it looks like they took more off one side than the other when it came out of the mold. Not sure how much adjustment there is in the fenders and grill. The finish looks decent for a glass hood, it's smooth and has the proper shape and appears to have the proper camber - but we'll see. There is minimal bracing underneath but what is there should be sufficient.

It's light - the bill of lading listed the box at 38 lbs, and it's a big, thick box.

OK - hold up on this item. It turns out that there may be a mold problem. Our hood is about 1/4" small in all dimensions and curves in at the front hood line - worse on the passanger side. The fenders can move to adjust the side gaps but the front edge is a problem. I called - they have 17 in stock and are inspecting them for a similar problem. The first couple they looked at show the same problem. I'm sending them dimensions on the stocker for comparison.

The good news is that customer service is first rate - if they can't provide me a suitable replacement, I'll get a 100% refund of purchase and shipping. They seem like a good company, so I hope we get this worked out.
