71-73 Trunk mount battery location ?

Hey guys movin the Batt to the trunk. Got the Summit relocation kit. Ive read your suppose to run the battery plates parallel to the body if I run it this way it runs against the body instead of long way w/ the body . My ? is for those who have done this on 71-73 bodies did you mount it in front of the tank towards the rear seat or farther back. theres not a whole lot of room if I go in front of the tank to work on the top side of it. & the frame rail runs pretty close Any boby got any pics ??

Pass in the area just behind the tire. And mount it the direction you said with the plates facing to the side. Might want to look into a shutoff switch too.

Thanks for the info, Got it in! Ended up like 9" from the Taillight panel on pass side behind rear tire. J-bolts kinda close between the frame & tank.
Used 2 Ga. all throughout, Also on engine to frame for ground
