After market Shelby rear spoiler kit for 67 Mustang conv.

I purchased a kit and nothing comes close to fitting. The body shop that is doing the work said it would cost $500 - $700 labor to do it. I think I am going to send everything back to where I bought it and get a refund. Does anybody know who makes a good fitting kit???? Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, John. A lot of the stuff out there is made from what is called "splash molds"
An original product is used to make a mold from polyester resin. Poly resin shrinks a few percentage points when it cures. This mold is now smaller than the original.
They then use poyester resin to make the part from the already incorrect mold, The part that is pulled from the bad mold also shinks to a certain degree, so what you end up with is a part that does not fit worth a sh(t.
IMO send it back and deal with a place like Branda as mentioned previously.
