66 mustang drive shaft loop

I've been doing some 1/8 mile runs with slicks and need some driveshaft insurance.
I was looking at the tube style loops but I'm not sure if I have the room for the tube.
So, does anyone have a best fit brand or want to plug the brand and model they’re using?

Here are a couple I am looking at.

Thanks,

joe

use the flat bar steel ones. That should fit OK.

Go nhra spec. Do it once. Don't have my book infront of me, but I think you need 2" wide X 1/4 thick steel. Ask your sales rep before you buy.
Nice looking car you have is that white or silver on hood?

What we use in all ours. Hammer to fit, bend to suit. On the Falcon, I trimmed it some and welded the "adjustable" lower part to the main piece for more clearance. You don't really need the lower part to be removeable anyway.
