87 a/c compressor in a 67 with factory air?

I'm trying to figure out how to connect the factory a/c hoses to an 87 style compressor. I will need to find a way add service ports and a dryer. I'm sure the hoses will have to be made up if I can locate the the required fittings. The car has all of the stock unit except the compressor.

If the compressor is made to use R-134a, (I can't remember when they phased R-12 out) then it might operate at too high a pressure for your other AC components. I would source an '87 drier and find a way to set it up, along with stock '87 service ports. I believe they are in the hoses? I don't know.
