Need help locating 1967 Mustang Tach

Hello, I am tapping the vast knowledge of the board to see if anyone could give me a lead on a original 1967 mustang tachometer. I had the original one sent to a shop here in San Diego. They said they couldnt fix it so they sent it out to another shop who supposedly could fix anything. Long Story short the tach is coming back, not fixed (beyond help according to them). I need this for a vehicle in the shop that is getting sent to Paris in two weeks. I have called around to several shops and found that these factory tachs are hard to find. Any help or direction would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try the FOMOCO forum. Mr F probably has some used and NOS ones and someone there knows a shop that can fix your old one. http://fomoco.phpbbnow.com/viewforum.php?f=2
I got a tach on eBay to fit my '67 that is made to fit in the clock spot (usually a blank in a 67) and it looks factory and works perfectly. The guy makes them in Austraila and ships them everywhere. Took only 8 days to get mine after I paid a Buy It Now for around 80 bucks. Here is what it looks like installed (the tach is in the middle of the dash) http://www.retrogauge.com/ebay/grfx/front-after.jpg
Only Classic Mustang experts would know it is not the Ford setup and most never notice. Mine is a 6K, but here is an 8K below:
