Restomod questions...

I am starting to plan my '69 Mustang's restomodification, and was wondering which of the aftermarket A/C companies are the best? I am looking at Vintage Air, and Classic Auto air. Anybody have either of them? Also, where can I get everything I need to convert to fuel injection using the setup off of a Fox body car? Is there a company (like a salvage yard)that sells the computer, wiring, sensors, etc, in a box where all I have to do is install it? Also, if I put in A/C, fuel injection, power windows and locks, what size alternator will I need? I have a 1 wire 70 amp unit on the car now, but I think I'll need a bigger one? Thanks for any and all replies!

Talking Re: Restomod questions...

I just finished installing an A/C from classic auto air in a 67 and I must say it was really a perfect fit like they said. Everything worked as advertised. This car was a factory air car so an adapter kit was needed but everything was included. It would help if you happen to know of any japanese pygmy midget mechanics you could hire for the underdash work. Just kidding but if I had put forth the effort I believe it could be done in an easy weekend.

Re: Restomod questions...

That's what I like to hear. My car used to have A/C, but when I was a teenager(and dumb(er) ) I had this idea of making it a racecar, so I pulled all the related A/c stuff out and trashed it! Now that I'm older, and like my comfort, I figure it would be easier to go aftermarket than try to piece a factory system back together.

Re: Restomod questions...

Did you use the factory AC outlets in the dash? I bought mine off the track, and its still pretty much a street car, but I am leaving those vents there for possible future use. This thing is hot in the summer? Gydyup
