Charcoal canister location

can anyone tell me where and how the charcoal canister is located on a 1970 Mustang Grande 302 auto California car.Thanks

I have never seen one on a '70 ( not being from Cali!) but on 71 up cars they are down on the inner rear apron below the passenger side hood hinge and the cardbaord tube came up to the air cleaner from there.

On my '70 coupe, it was mounted down below the right side cylinder head toward the front. It was about level with the top of the oil pan, but I can't remember where the mounting braket attached.

I have a 1970 Calif. car with a Cobra Jet engine. It was down low on the engine, passenger side also. Had odd diameter sized and torn connector hose, so removed and stored away in cabinet. I may be wrong, but thought it anchored to the aluminum oil filter adapter on these engines.
