t-56 in 66' coupe

would the world class t-56 6 speed tranny fit right onto my 302 in my 66' coupe (have c4 now)
if so would it be worth purchasing for the extra overdrive or would the t-5 be a better fit?

A T5 conversion kit will be cheaper...

those are good transmissions. they even put em in vipers. heres a link to see all the specs and different tremec models.
