I don't know if the 69 fiberglass fits as well as the stuff for 67/68 but here's a pic of my 68 that still retains the stock curved tail panel. There's a small gap on both sides but it's not noticeable.

I would be interested in buying your old deck lid, if you are selling it? Also if you could tell me what condition it is in and if you could send photo.

The 67/68 and 69/70 are two different cars. The deck lids will not interchange. You are going to have to find 69/70 SHELBY CONV (same as HDTP/coupe) take-offs or repro.

This is a '68 C/S panel on a stock bodied '67 coupe. There are some gaps but not too bad. The dip in the trunk lid will be removed and the line will go straight across.
