This one was built for fun, comfort and dependability. Designed to breath well, using a rather mild hydraulic roller cam to keep it well mannered ... it's a dream come true on the streets. Gets 15 MPG on the highway, but with all that low end torque and the four speed it's more fun than I ought to be allowed to have.
Part of the beauty of this engine was after going from the 351C to the 460 the car gained only 60 pounds ... an aluminum headed BB isn't all that heavy
I doubt it will ever see a drag strip
