Question 302 headers

hey im looking to replace the stock exhaust manifolds on my 1971 302, any suggestions on what headers i should look at and what are you guys running, thanks i appreciate the help

I run coated hedman full length headers. They fit ok, but do drag sometimes over speedbumps. I am assuming your motor is pretty stock, and if you dont want to get radical try y headers are great. Lots of mustang parts stores sell them for cheap. they will add lots of power to your car.

well the engine isnt quite stock so far i know it has flat top pistons, edelbrock 289 performer rpm intake, 650 4bbl holly, not sure on the heads im still talking to the guy that built it, but it still has the stock exhaust manifolds of the 71, i was looking at the tri y headers can anyone tell me if there are any clearance issues with the tri y's
