Can someone tell me if 66 mustang spindles will fit a 68.

I haven't had any luck at this. Bearings are different sizes, drums, etc.
May be easier to locate a 1966 for you but is still wrong.

I don't think they will...

The 66 is a smallish car and the 68 is a barge...

I was sure the front ends were diffrent though...

It would probably work, but it would be like using a Granada spindle on a 66. Your suspension geometry will be a little goofy without modifications.

The Ford interchange manual shows:
Drum Brakes - 67,68,69 Mustang, Cougar Fairlane, Falcon, Comet & Montego.
Disc Brakes - 68,69 Mustang, Cougar Fairlane, Falcon, Comet & Montego.

Right now I'm looking for a right front spindle for my 69 Mustang as well.
