Thumbs down 67 Mustang Fastback Rear Suspension

I have a 67 fastback I'm in the planning stages for restomodding it. I'm going to put a TCP power rack & pinion and their front suspension on it. Now the rear, does anybody know of, done, etc any of the following and what they're like, or others: Total Cost Involved rear torque arm suspension package, Heidt's bolt-in rear 4-link kit, TCP g-Bar, or any others? Thanks!!

I've never used any but from what I've gathered at Welcome to Pro-Touring.com & G-Machines.com people generally like the g-bar rear suspension and I think I'll do it on mine when I get around to it.

Re: 67 Mustang Fastback Rear Suspension

Ive read that the best rear suspension is a long torque arm three link suspension. they are run on lots of fast race cars. THat bieng said I run a leaf spring rear with shely tracion bars. the bars bind a bit and lead to oversteer but I am going to remedy taht soon by replacing the rubber bushings with heim joints. I run heavy 5 leafs and get great tracion and good contollable grip. I would run a leaf spring suspension over a 4 link, as tehy are better for road racing.

How is a leaf spring rear better then a 4 link in a drag race situation???? This is just a wacky statement to make, sorry!!

Woops I wrote the wrong thing, I meant ROAD racing. sorry about that. A four link is best for drag rcing if you know how to set it up right.

EvM Vintage Mustang Watts Link/Trilink, Rear Suspension - $2,844.95 : Evolution Motorsport, A Mustang Performance Company

I have this 3 link sitting on the work bench waiting for me to install it in my 65...it will work on a 67 as well.
