Re: '65 won't stay running

Now that it runs it is time to invest in a vacuum guage. I have found that using a vacuum guage, timing light, and tach makes the tune-up procedure a lot easier.

Re: '65 won't stay running

now that it's running I'm taking it apart :p rebuilding a roller block 302 to drop in place of the 289. I'm thinkin an edelbrock 1406 with weiand action+ intake, a mild cam and maybe some cheap heads if I can find em. it's not going to be a racecar, just a little hotter than stock for now. besides, I still have to restore this

Re: '65 won't stay running

pulled the motor today...damn longtubes are a PAIN in the ASS to deal with!!

The oil pan has a sticker for "GER" Torque Converters. A quick google search says they're junk...I looked at the TC and couldn't really find any identifying marks. Should I replace it? I have no idea what it is, stall, etc.
